Public Services
Public Services is offered as a Level 1 and 2 BTEC qualification in KS4 and Level 3 BTEC in KS5. It's a popular subject due to its relevance to one of the most important job sectors here in Wrexham. The course offers the opportunity to gain an insight into the work of various public services, including those in the voluntary sector. We study important principles such as equality and diversity as well as developing team leadership skills. Some units concentrate on physical fitness and activities and pupils have enjoyed completing some of these units in Glanllyn.
