Information Technology
Welcome to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department.
Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils will develop their digital literacy skills through their subjects. All departments in the school have IT resources and will use IT as an integrated part of learning. In year 9, pupils will complete two units of Wellbeing lessond in IT to get a taste of the GCSE course and further develop their skills.
Digital Technology is a popular GCSE course and pupils have the opportunity to study A Levels in IT through the e-sgol programme. Studying IT can lead to a wide range of career paths, including some that may not yet exist!
