Geography
Welcome to the Geography department!
Every student in years 7, 8 a 9 are given the opportunity to study this subject looking at a range of physical and human (anthropogeography) aspects associated with the subject. Geography is a very popular subject at GCSE and A Level ac offer students the opportunity to expand on their understanding of the world around them.
There is also an opportunity for students to learn outside of the classroom too with feld work and educational visits such as a trip to Iceland and Italy.
Studying Geography can lead to a number of career opportunities, from a Geographer to drone pilot, from town and country planning to cartologist.
